Who are we?

The Evangelical Mission to the Deaf in the Pacific (EMDP) is dedicated to enrich Deaf people's lives in the Pacific. It works exclusively with the Deaf in order to improve access to education, employment and social inclusiveness. The EMDP is a voluntary organisation based in the United Kingdom and is run by a Trustee that comprises Deaf and Hearing professionals. It was formed in February 2002 to represent Deaf people all over the Pacific Islands who share a common cultural identity, united by common shared need to be fully empowered. EMDP is a registered by the Charity commission for England and Wales and has a charity number 1100724.
